1. Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of Brown Ale, we set sail on the high seas at seven bells, but before that one of our crew mates had jumped ship before we had even sailed (land lubber!!!) no names - Vickey - she was'nt our usual Pink Lady but more green around the gills.
We had been booked to play for a wedding party on a cruise boat sailing on the river Tyne which was definitely different, something none of us had done before.
We played our usual stuff as the boat headed up to the mouth of the Tyne to North Sheilds then turned round and back down to Newcastle for approx 11.00pm.
It was really strange to be playing when the boat actually docks because it was dark outside and all of a sudden everybody lunges to one side as the boat bumps up against the quayside - anyway as true professionals we never missed a beat and everyone enjoyed themselves, hope to do it again soon.

2. We have added a PRINTABLE monthly gig guide to help keep up with our comings and goings, I hope you find it useful - have a look and see what you think.

3. We would like to thank a couple of people who got up recently at our last two gigs, first Colins sister, Bernie (a solo pro singer) who helped us out at The Lord Clyde, South Shields she enjoyed herself adding backing vocals to our last number of the night Free's - Alright Now.
Second, Ian (Shack) Shackleton from the band The Captians got up at The Davy Lamp, Kelloe, Durham to lend a hand on Mustang Sally and the crowd really appreciated the local input and so did we - thanks to both of them.

Hope to see you at our next gig headling the Morpeth Festival 4.00pm Sunday 11th June.

Until next time

The Underdogs.
